The Mystic

During the Renaissance, direct contact with the Divine was the goal of holy men and women and philosophers alike. This session will examine the search for mysticism through a variety of mediums—ancient texts, prayer, meditation, the exploration of different wisdom traditions and more. Special attention will be paid to female mystics like Lucia Broccadelli, St. Maria Maddalena de’ Pazzi and St. Catherine of Genova.
