On Thursday 24th October we will go on a fabulous excursion to Tenuta Poggio Torselli, whose delicious wines we are enjoying in the Library this season. The estate is located in the hills near San Casciano in Val di Pesa and it is one of the finest historic villas in Tuscany, a truly extraordinary place, steeped in history and beauty.
On this visit we will have a tour of Villa Torselli and the winery, followed by a guided tasting. Then we will have a delicious country lunch at Trattoria Matteuzzi at Ponte Rotto. Our tour bus will leave Florence at 10:00 and should be back in town by 17:00.
