Painting in the Age of Leonardo da Vinci

This lecture will summarise the exceptional career of Leonardo (1452-1519), with a special focus on the role of landscapes in his scientific works, drawings and paintings produced while in the service of Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan, the Florentine Republic and Cesare Borgia.
