Jazz al British - David Schulman
We’re really pleased to welcome David Schulman back to the Library for another session of his mesmeric improvised violin jazz. Playing with sophisticated playback loops, David thrilled the audience when he played here last year. Something a bit different which is strongly recommended.
An extraordinary, expressive improviser on the violin, wonderfully moving and frequently surprising in his ideas — and mysterious and haunting in their execution. — Michael West, Washington City Paper
"This music defies its genre, and in a way each song kind of is its own genre ... It's like a book of poetry." — Baruch Zeichner, host of PARADIGMS
