FRESCO WORKSHOP

Delve into Renaissance frescoes through a tour of some of the most important Renaissance frescoes in the church of Santa Maria Novella followed by a hands-on workshop in fresco painting.  Participants will create their own preparatory cartoon, mix their own pigments and paint a fresco using the same techniques as the great fresco painters of the Renaissance.
