RENAISSANCE DRAFTING TECHNIQUES

Explore the world of Renaissance drawings through first-hand observation of 16th century drawings at the Casa Buonarroti followed by a hands-on workshop on the drafting techniques of Michelangelo.  Participants will reproduce a Renaissance drawing using such materials as goose-quill pen and ink, black chalk and natural sanguine red chalk.
