Museo di Palazzo Vecchio
This visit will examine the vestiges of Arnolfo di Cambio’s original project for the Palazzo Vecchio, prior to Vasari’s broad interventions in the sixteenth century. Discussion will center on the organization and use of space as intended for the various councils of elected officials driving Florence’s mercantile republic at the dawn of the fourteenth century.
