Experience the Medieval and Renaissance technique of egg tempera painting and gold leafing. Participants will first have a guided tour of the early Renaissance paintings in the Opera del Duomo then, in a hands-on workshop, reproduce an egg tempera painting complete with gold leafing using authentic materials and techniques of the great masters.
