Early Saints and Relics of Florence
This lecture will introduce the earliest principal religious figures of the medieval city with particular attention given to Saints Minias and Zenobius of Florence, in order to identify and decipher the visual language of religious paintings and sculpture commonly depicted in Florentine art of the Middle Ages.
